The multifaceted oral surgeon, health advisor, writer, and French artist, Sophie Lelouch, unveiled her latest collection of artworks at a grand exhibition held on October 22 at the distinguished St. Regis Bahia Beach Resort. The pieces, all crafted with her distinctive passion and vibrant color palette, found enthusiastic buyers, and the event successfully raised funds for the Alma de Bahia Foundation, a nonprofit organization affiliated with St. Regis Bahia Beach Resort that diligently works to promote the protection of natural resources and wildlife.

“We are extremely grateful for Sophie’s decision to donate the proceeds from her art auction to the Alma de Bahia Foundation. Residents like Sophie truly embody the spirit of St. Regis Bahia Beach Resort, a community deeply rooted in creating a positive and lasting impact in Puerto Rico,” said Geraldine Farrulla, Sales and Marketing Director of St. Regis Bahia Beach.

Marcela Cañón, Executive Director of Alma de Bahia, stated, “This initiative goes far beyond the funds raised; it represents a commitment to a shared vision of a sustainable Puerto Rico. Initiatives like this not only drive our ongoing projects but also reinforce the fundamental message of conservation, education, and community collaboration.”

Lelouch added, “For me, art is an expression of my journey toward holistic health and wellness. I am delighted that through my art, I can support the commendable efforts of the Alma de Bahia Foundation to care for the environment and build local communities.”

Sophie’s dedication is not only a testament to her talent and generosity but also illuminates the broader narrative of the residents of St. Regis Bahia Beach Resort. Their collective commitment goes beyond luxury and leisure, extending to tangible contributions for the improvement of Puerto Rico, its environment, and its communities. The St. Regis Bahia Beach Resort and its community of residents, through events like these, reiterate their lasting promise to protect, preserve, and enhance Puerto Rico’s natural and cultural treasures.

The Alma de Bahia Foundation is a distinguished nonprofit organization that, for over a decade, has tirelessly advocated for the protection of natural resources, wildlife, and the advancement of sustainability in Puerto Rico. Working closely with St. Regis Bahia Beach Resort, the foundation has catalyzed significant multisector initiatives and citizen engagement. From overseeing beach cleanup activities that remove tons of waste from the coastline to educating tens of thousands of youth about environmental management, the foundation’s achievements have been fundamental in fostering a deep culture of conservation and community participation throughout the island.

Thanks to the work of the Alma de Bahia Foundation, St. Regis Bahia Beach Resort is one of 21 resorts worldwide designated as a Certified Gold Audubon International Signature Sanctuary, an impressive achievement that demonstrates its commitment to environmental protection and biodiversity. As such, St. Regis Bahia Beach Resort is the only resort in the Caribbean to have received this prestigious distinction.
