The Porsche World Roadshow kicked off in Puerto Rico. From August 8 to 18, the experience allowed over 300 enthusiasts to embark on an 11-day, 190-mile journey behind the wheel of Porsche models such as the 911, Boxster, Cayman, Panamera, Cayenne, and their E-Hybrid versions, under various driving conditions that tested the brand’s renowned performance and luxury. The fourth edition of the PWRS in Puerto Rico took place from August 8 to 18, offering 24 versions of the Stuttgart-based sports cars for test drives.
Participants experienced the versatility and power of Porsche vehicles in different driving conditions. After five years, the iconic Porsche World Roadshow (PWRS) returned to Puerto Rico. This initiative, which has toured more than 45 countries and reached over 45,000 people, held a new edition on the island from August 8 to 18, during which more than 300 enthusiasts conquered the roads over 11 days in German sports cars. “The Porsche World Road Show, held in various parts of the world, arrived in Puerto Rico for the fourth time, and we are definitely excited,” said Orlando Pérez, General Manager of Porsche Center Puerto Rico.
“It’s a unique experience where both the automotive media in Puerto Rico, international press, and Porsche enthusiasts have the opportunity to discover firsthand the unmatched performance and luxury our cars offer, in the company of expert drivers,” he added. With over 20 versions available, including the iconic 911, the sporty Boxster and Cayman, the luxurious Panamera, the Cayenne SUV, and the E-Hybrid versions of the Panamera and Cayenne, an exclusive group of brand aficionados had the chance to experience the thrill that only driving a Porsche can offer.

As a unique and special benefit for event participants, the new Taycan, set to arrive on the market later this year, was available for test drives. These units were included in the PWRS only for the event’s duration to offer an exclusive opportunity to experience the performance of the new generation model, which has been extensively improved in terms of performance, charging time, and especially its range.
The approximately 190-mile journey, stretching from San Juan to Santa Isabel and Yabucoa, allowed drivers to experience the versatility and power of the vehicles in various driving conditions, from coastal roads to mountain curves, testing Porsche technology in every aspect. Guests had the opportunity to switch between different available cars at each of the 11 planned stops along the route, allowing them to drive all six models of the brand.
The Porsche World Road Show has been a successful event organized by the German brand since its first edition in 2000 in Stuttgart, Germany. This is the fourth time it has been held in Puerto Rico, following the 2012, 2014, and 2019 editions.
