In a story of vision and commitment, Paulson Puerto Rico shared its exciting $511 million growth plan with the Puerto Rico Tourism Company. At the heart of this narrative lies the goal of elevating the experience for both visitors and local residents, surpassing expectations, and establishing Puerto Rico as a world-renowned destination.
Within Paulson Puerto Rico’s distinguished portfolio of hotels is the renowned Condado Collection, which includes the Condado Vanderbilt, La Concha Resort, Condado Ocean Club, and the St. Regis Bahia Beach Resort in Río Grande. Each of these destinations tells its own story of luxury, exceptional service, and a passion for creating unforgettable experiences.
In a meeting filled with anticipation and commitment, influential leaders from both organizations gathered to share the company’s plans and achievements. Rolando Padua, President of Paulson Puerto Rico, stated: “We are excited to be part of this story that is transforming the tourism industry in Puerto Rico. We have a property like the St. Regis Bahia Beach Resort that boasts a total of 10 stars—5-star hotel and 5-star spa; Condado Vanderbilt ranked as the top hotel in Puerto Rico and third in the Caribbean and Central America in the prestigious Conde Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards, and we can go on. Our growth plan represents not only a financial investment but also a passionate commitment to innovation and excellence.”
Paulson Puerto Rico’s expansion plan includes hiring a renowned international chef, changing the flag of La Concha Resort from Marriott Renaissance to Autograph, and opening Tekka Bar, a prestigious restaurant from Las Vegas expected to be a great success like Serafina and STK, which have already been established by the company. Additionally, they will continue to innovate in the hotel condominium model with Ocean Drive Residents by St. Regis and Vanderbilt Residences. As they have done in other properties, they will continue to reinforce their commitment to the local community through their Alma de Condado program and the island’s tourism industry.
Carlos Mercado, Executive Director of the Puerto Rico Tourism Company, expressed: “We appreciate the commitment and dedication that Paulson Puerto Rico and its hotel portfolio have demonstrated towards the economic development of our Island. The announcement of these significant projects will undoubtedly expand our tourism offering and international recognition, which will continue to position us as a destination of excellence. We are very excited about the opportunities and benefits this will bring to the quality of service and experience that both our foreign visitors and the local community receive.” This growth plan will not only boost the local economy but will also enrich the experience of visitors and residents in Puerto Rico. Paulson Puerto Rico takes pride in its role as a driver of innovation and growth in the island’s hospitality industry.
