Rolando Padua
President
Our commitment to Puerto Rico, its people, and its talent is stronger than ever!
Padua’s journey began as an “Army brat,” moving frequently and living in various states such as Texas, Virginia, and Florida during his formative years. During his teenage years, Padua’s passion for aviation took flight as he attended Denbigh High School’s Aviation Academy, a nationally recognized STEM site specializing in piloting, aircraft maintenance, engineering, safety, and security.
Padua returned to Puerto Rico after finishing high school to study Political Science at the University of Puerto Rico’s Rio Piedras campus. This led to a career in public service that includes roles as Deputy Secretary of State and Undersecretary for Foreign Affairs and Advisor to the Governor’s Chief of Staff in Gov. Alejandro García Padilla’s administration.
Padua then worked as a consultant in the export services industry. It was through this work that he connected with Paulson Puerto Rico, eventually joining the company, and rising through the ranks to become the Chief Operating Officer of Bahia Beach Resort. Four years later, was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer for the resort.
In March of 2023 Padua was named President of Paulson Puerto Rico. Drawing on his experience in the public sector and his passion for public service, he is uniquely positioned to navigate the challenges and seize the opportunities that lie ahead.
Under Padua’s leadership, Paulson Puerto Rico is set to continue its trajectory of growth and prosperity in Puerto Rico. As a native son of the island, his personal connection to its people and culture serves as a guiding force in his commitment to creating lasting, positive change for the communities that call Puerto Rico home.
