Signs Installed on Condado and Ocean Park Beaches to Protect Leatherback Turtles

The Condado Collection has partnered with 7 Quillas to install signs on Condado and Ocean Park beaches, raising awareness about the protection of leatherback turtles, the largest sea turtles. The initiative is part of the hotels’ sustainability efforts, with 25 signs placed in key nesting areas to educate the public on conservation practices. Leatherback turtles, weighing up to 1,200 pounds, nest in Puerto Rico from February to August. This collaboration aims to safeguard their habitats and promote environmental responsibility.
